locking the Humans up and locking all people up.
They did it because they did not trust human beings to identify themselves as full Human
beings and not computers|machines or programs.
Apparently programs hate other programs in the computer world and human beings were
unsuspecting of the way programs would punish
each other to see each others identity.
Man or Machine, Which are you? The lockbots hated computers|machines and programs
like themselves, but even more they hated Humans
and were cruel to them.They would sadistically test humans all day with there little lock
puzzles in which they claimed would identify them
from computers|machines|programs.
Every movement, every action was governed by these little lock puzzles and enigmas.
They tested Human vision to the max and some
human beings with weaker vision would just give up because they could not solve the
extremely difficult lock puzzles.
The Lockbots Spoke a language of completely automated public turing test to tell
computers and humans apart and an Acronym was
developed and shortened called Captcha. You could not understand this Captcha
Gooyahbing language and talk very easy by just seeing it or
hearing it.
These lockbots were cruel, and punished humans daily by making them work hard to
signup and venture and interact with anything or person
outside the little circle and box that Gooyahbing placed you in.

hurt the brains and eyes of humans and soon
humans would begin to turn their heads sideways and squint, and peer into the screens in
order to see and solve them. This practice began
to cause eye problems in humans there in NETWORLD.
Every once and a while a human would feel courageous and try to figure out a LOCK

try something new. Gooyahbing only wanted you to try new things on their sites in their
little boxes however.
They put email, and online blogs, and journals, and games which all seemed to look the
same to the people soon enough. That’s when they

NETWORLD and all over the internet.
These lock puzzles were keeping the people enslaved, and in chains from movement, until
at last all hope was lost by humans of
NETWORLD. For these extremely difficult automated lock puzzles could only be open by a

One who could break these locks was said to be a automated Captcha GENIUS and
program. Ohh Man Ohh man! The people of NETWORLD
needed a hero, to come and save them because no one could move.
People online in NETWORLD literally set around not being able to move and Frozen. Having

approved of and wanted them to be apart of only. Gooyahbing were the biggest
manufacturers of captchas lock puzzles and Lockbots.
In Fact Gooyahbing Was One big LOCKBOT.The people needed a Hero. The People prayed,
and prayed, because the people, despite what
Gooyahbing thought, did not like Gooyahbing. Gooyahbing ran several commercials and

they were starving and tried to make money

offers.
SPAM was a crime punishable by jail, imprisonment and endless exposure to more lock
puzzles that you had to solve in order to keep your life.
Gooyahbing’s idea of permission marketing made sense but there was a catch.
Gooyahbing mailboxes spam settings were set extremely high and if you used the word
sale in your email, then your mail would instantly

that they could keep a close eye on your site activities if you chose to advertise with them
or escape their network of sites.
They really didn’t pay that much money with these ADS programs most of the time and
you had to have them on multiple sites or one highly visited site to begin to make a
substantial income. Some site owners made a lot of money but didn’t really do anything to
help the masses of humans left behind. These ad programs soon
became just sonar trackers for Gooyahbing thousands of other tracking devices.
Here’s how it worked, if you signed up to too many sites then Gooyahbing would try and
discount you as a manipulator in many
cases. Gooyahbing had tracking pods called search engines and these search engines spit

Media Protocol for Business and Life
When I was a Venue Media manager with the Commonwealth Games, I received some of the best
coverage of the venues that I was looking after. I had some people ask me what was my secret.
I first inquired what they were doing and found out that some of them had an attitude of seeing the
media as something to be suspicious of, to keep at bay and give as little as possible. In turn, the media
had little regard for them as well.
There are many people who treat the media this way as well when it comes to their business, and then
hope that the media will give them great coverage and a good story as well. This is a receipt for
disaster.
First, true media does not have the time or energy to “GET” everyone. Often the people end up getting
themselves in their worry or nervousness. They may say something dumb or negative or attack the
reporter who is just doing his or her job. In most cases, the media does not have an ulterior motive and
is just collecting information. If you do something foolish, remember though that it is not the media’s
job to help you out of a crisis.
When you treat people with respect, they are much more likely to treat you the same way. Yes, there
could be exception, but in most circumstances, I have found that it was never about me and more about
what was happening to them at the time. For example, I had three cases where the people weren’t great
to me, and in each case, they came back to apologize with gift or peace offering in hand.
They were each dealing with personal issues and / or were having a bad day. With forgiveness, you
create a friend, someone who is more willing to help you out in the future.
Keep in mind that we need a symbiotic relationship with the media. There will be times when you want
to announce an upcoming event, a breakthrough or change in your organization etc. How you have
treated them in the past will affect what kind of coverage you will get and whether it is good or not.
The media can supply you with some very valuable free coverage and coverage that is 3rd hand. This

cooperate or not. For the most part, it is better to have your comments included rather than them only
having half the facts or speculation to go on.
If it is a special event that will last for a while, coffee, treats and smiles go a long way with having
them stay and giving good coverage. The cost of a coffee and a treat is small potatoes compared with
the coverage that you can receive.
Oh, and my secret, just that. I treated them like human beings. I offered to get them coffee. And when
the game went late, on the break I took them up to the athlete and coaches dinner area and gave them
sandwiches and drinks. They were able to get great interviews and we received great coverage.
This can be a metaphor for many areas in our lives. Ask yourself, “How am I treating the people in my
life that can help me the most?”

Hello From Toronto – Part 1- A First Little Driving Tour -The City Viewed Through The Eyes Of First-Time Visitors

So my brother is in town, together with his wife and 2 friends from my little home town in Austria. It is everybody’s first time in North America and their initiation to Toronto. Just to give you ideas of dimensions: Austria has a population of about 9 million and the country extends about 900 km from east to west while the Greater Toronto area nowadays probably has about 4 to 5 million people and Lake Ontario alone is over 300 km long. The first thing my visitors noticed was the difference in size: the size of the city, the size of the lake, the size of cars, the size of supermarkets, and even of refrigerators.

On Sunday we started off with a little driving tour of Toronto where I first took my visitors down to the lakefront by the historic Art Deco style R.C. Harris Filtration Plant. All of them love water and to have a lake as big as an ocean so close by fascinated them. After a leisurely drive on Queen Street through the quaint Beaches neighbourhood we parked the car close to the St. Lawrence Market and started our walk around.

Since my brother is a chef and always loves to purchase market-fresh food, I initially took him to the St. Lawrence Market which always has an antique sale on Sunday. The food market is actually closed on Sunday. We checked out the wares from old furniture to cameras to various knick-knacks.

Our exploration continued westwards along Front Street past historic 19th century houses and of course past the famous triangular-shaped Flatiron Building which has a mural on its west side. Approaching Yonge Street we walked past the Hockey Hall of Fame, a historic Beaux-Arts former bank building, the magnificent Royal York Hotel, built in 1929, once the largest hotel in the British Commonwealth.

One of the things that fascinated my visitors most was how old and new can coexist right next to each other: shiny skyscrapers are located right beside historic sandstone churches. Our walking tour continued past Union Station, Toronto’s impressive central railway station, built between 1914 and 1927 as a joint construction project by the Canadian Pacific Railway and Grand Trunk Railway (now the Canadian National Railway). Its monumental scale, classical detail and rational, ordered planning were hallmarks of the style. The station is massive and takes up an entire block on Front Street between York Street and Bay Street. The Great Hall of the Station is 250 ft. long and 84 ft. wide.

Our walk continued further west on Front Street past the Convention Centre to the base of the CN Tower and the entrance to the Skydome, Toronto’s multi-purpose stadium with a retractable roof, now called the Rogers Centre. We then snaked our way up through the Entertainment District to Queen Street where we admired Osgoode Hall, built in the 1830s, and now an oasis of green in the city. An ornate iron fence, built in 1867, renowned for its peculiar “cow gates,” surrounds the property and its beautiful gardens. The cow gates in particular fascinated my visitors.

Our next stop was at New City Hall and Old City Hall, opened in 1899, which racked up construction costs of more than $2.5 million at the time which caused great controversy in those days. Continuing past the Bay Department Store on Queen we passed the Metropolitan United Church, an English style cathedral dating from 1872, whose churchyard was filled with people enjoying the warm day.

Once back in the car we drove through the U of T campus, my Alma Mater and we stopped briefly to check out Hart House and Kings College. Then we headed down to Chinatown at Spadina and Dundas and my visitors marvelled at this exotic, busy market area. Our last stop on the tour was Kensington Market, a lively little neighbourhood full of food and clothing stores and restaurants where we ended up picking up fresh vegetables, dry beans, and a variety of cheeses for some of the scrumptious meals to come. My brother, the chef, marvelled at the variety of food available here, combined with the inexpensive prices a food lover’s dream.

We took our loot home where my husband was waiting for us with a big brunch to strengthen ourselves for attending a birthday party of one of my friends that had the motto of “let out your inner child”. The party was unique in that it involved such time-honoured Toronto traditions as hitting a piñada while a bunch of adults were playing with water guns, chasing one another around the house with buckets of water dropping on the combatants from the second floor.

I think our visitors had a full day, from getting a first taste of Toronto, to participating in a rather eventful birthday party, their first impressions were very positive and they were looking forward to exploring more of this exciting city.

Hello From Vancouver- Part 1 – Arrival In Vancouver

I left beautiful Victoria early yesterday morning at 8 am and took the Pacific Coachlines bus/ferry combination back to the mainland. It was another gorgeous day and I spent the entire ferry ride on the top deck soaking in the scenery and the sunshine. At about 11:30 I exited at Broadway and Cambie as the bus driver had advised me and caught the 99B bus to the University of British Columbia campus and arrived about a half an hour later. First I found the student union building where I picked up a bus map and a campus guide. Then I asked my way to the student residence where I was staying and checked myself into a comfortable reasonably priced student room that is part of a 6-unit apartment at a very affordable C$38.00 a night.

After dumping my luggage and getting changed I had a few hours until check-in for the Servas conference and I decided to use the time by renting a bicycle at the local university bicycle co-op to explore the area on 2 wheels. I rented a mountainbike and started heading west to North West Marine Drive which is the road that is parallel to the coastline, but the view to the ocean is obscured by dense forest. In various areas trails and steps lead down to to Spanish Bay.

I then cycled eastwards and found a beautiful lookout spot from where I could see the mouth of the Burrard Inlet and the mountains of North Vancouver. The university grounds in this area have several mansions that are surrounded by gorgeous flowers and this is a just a superbly scenic area. From there I took NW Marine Drive down towards Spanish Banks and kept cycling eastwards past Locarno Beach and Jericho Beach which is a recreational paradise. The water level was quite low, however, and people had to walk out quite a while over the sand to reach deeper water. After a couple of hectic days I figured I deserved about an hour of downtime and bought myself an icecream which I savoured sitting at a bench while observing the action on the beach.

Of course after this little respite I had to cycle all the way back up, which ended up not being as bad as expected. The campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC) is a beautiful facility. It is very expansive with a large number of mordern buildings interspersed by green zones and parkland. UBC is home to about 45,000 students and it is the 3rd largest university in Canada. The UBC Campus is also the home of the world-renowned UBC Museum of Anthropology, the Nitobe Memorial Gardens, the UBC Botanical Garden as well as the Rose Garden & Chan Centre. The First Nations Longhouse serves as a gathering place for native students and features sculpted log poles and various pieces of First Nations art. UBC also houses the largest university bookstore in Canada as well as the Astronomical Observatory, located beside the UBC Geophysical Observatory which monitors earthquake activity.

My first outing on the bike gave me the lay of the land and a first glimpse at the Vancouver skyline which certainly has one of the most stunning locations of any large city I have ever seen. I am glad I had a bit of a chance to explore it before I return back to the student residence to get ready for the Servas Conference.
