‘Bag monster,’ vegetable oil-fueled bus draw eyes at first annual…

Amy Kox was something of a mini celebrity on Saturday. Shrouded in a costume made from 500 plastic bags – symbolizing the estimated number of plastic bags a single shopper uses at the grocery store each year – she attracted attention from both fellow participants in the first annual Greater Green Bay Green Parade and attendees.

Green parade set for April 24 in Green Bay

In conjunction with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, the Greater Green Bay Earth Week Coalition will host a green parade April 24 in downtown Green Bay.
