Golf Classic to Benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield


                                                                                                           

DATELINE:  MARSHFIELD, PEMBROKE AND PLYMOUTH, MA… BuyTheCase.net, an online retailer based in Pembroke, is sponsoring a charity golf event to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield, which is a 1,000 member strong non-profit organization that provides the area’s youth with enrichment and recreation programs in a safe environment.

                                                         

BuyTheCase.net’s 3rd Annual Golf Classic for the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Crosswinds Golf Course, 424 Long Pond Road, Plymouth.  Registration is on a first come, first served basis.  The format is four person scramble.  At 12 p.m. lunch will be served and registration will begin.  A practice green and the driving range will be open.  Play begins at 1 p.m.

 

Any registered player who hits a Hole-in-One will win a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu from McLaughlin Chevrolet.  Hole sponsors include: EMS Academy; East Bay Grill; Sundance Homes; Haddad’s Ocean Café; Ninety Nine Restaurant; Bridgewaye; BH Plus A AutomaTech; Steve and Wendi Monahan; Brockton Plastics; South Shore Savings Bank; Damon, Topham & Company, LLC; George Washington Toma and Xtreme Carpet Cleaning.  Eastern Bank is the “Closest to the Pin” sponsor and Staples is the “Long Drive Sponsor”.

 

A cocktail hour and silent auction will be held at 5 p.m. and dinner will be held at 6 p.m., followed by special prizes and a raffle.  Dinner is sponsored by Roche Bros.  Silent auction and raffle sponsors include New England Patriots; Boston Red Sox; Boston Bruins; East Bay Grille; South Shore Dinner Club; Buythecase.net; Briteway Car Wash / Verc.Enterprises; Spatique; Marshfield Country Club; John and Linda Bodenmann; Steve Driscoll; ACE Equipment; Reebok; Xrtreme Carpet Cleaning and DJ Sullivan Collision. 

 

Additional hole sponsors and raffle/auction sponsors are needed. Volunteers for the event are needed to help with check-in and Par-3 holes as well as with the raffle and auction at the end of the night.

The cost to participate in the 3rd Annual Golf Classic is $600 per foursome; $300 for two players or $150 for an individual spot.  Golf cart, 18 holes of Championship golf, use of the driving range, boxed lunch and full dinner is included in the cost.
